• Most advice is about setting goals: "If you're motivated enough you'll succeed", "Set SMART Goals", "Write down your goals". Great advice. Yes, you need a clear goal to aim for. But now what? 'Get started' is common advice. Get started on what though? And How?

• Everyone is obsessed with being productive: Most internet 'gurus' relentlessly talk about how to manage your time better, and be more productive. But productive on what? Being productive is pointless unless you have a clear goal and vision, and a clear plan for achieving it.

​

• Most advice is generic and isn't actionable (particularly when it comes to planning!): Most internet advice boils down to "Make a plan". Great. Thanks. I'll just 'Make a Plan' to build a side business online while managing my 9-5 job and preserving my relationship with a wife and 2 kids.

Greg has an idea, and is motivated. He says "I have my SMART goal. I want to build a online business selling fitness products to busy young professionals, and want to achieve net monthly cashflow of £2,000 within 12 months. Awesome!"
